Smooth and powerful brown. Boozy, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate.

Intensive notes of coffee. Some caramel, some malts wirh a woody undertone. Boozy in a warming pleasant way. Creamy, almost nitro-ish mouthfeel.

Subtle bourbon notes and decent coffee profile from start to finish.

2020 vintage. So much coffee! Also, a little too boozy for it's own good.

Thick! But the better of the high ABV beers I've had in a long time.

Sweetness sticks to your lips. Barreled and little coffee bite

Has that barrel flavor going on to add sweetness, and some nice chocolate malty flavor going on. The brown ale makes it feel more "thin" while still retaining a lot of flavor

2019 vintage - coffee has faded but remarkably smooth - brown sugar, chocolate, hint of dark fruit - sweet but not cloying - pleasantly boozy.

Chocolate, coffee with cream, oaky vanilla. Some alcohol heat

Wow this is thick like oil. You can taste the bourbon barrels with lots of dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. But it’s super dark, super thick. I’m Randall, no can handle.

Doesn't really stand out from any other barrel aged stout except for the slightly stronger bitter coffee after taste.

Nitro. Like dessert. Regular is good, nitro is great.

You get the vanilla from the bourbon barrels, nice coffee kick. Not overly boozy for 11%. Opens up as it warms up.

Makes me want to grow a knee-length beard and grab a large axe. Founders always comes through!

Coffee, chocolate and Bourbon. This beer is a blend of three of my favorite flavors, so it’s impossible not to love.
