Bourbon barrels and chocolate are a magical combination, I'm sure even more so after aging in a bottle for about two and a half years. My goodness..

Rich and sweet chocolate flavours. Barrel aged gives it a nice intensity. Really good

Still drinking nicely. Basically a barrel aged stout at this point. Other flavors fallen off. I’m not complaining though.

Bourbon, coffee, chocolate, roast. Smooth, boozy and lightly syrupy. Lingering roast and chocolatey sweetness. Delicious.

#900 and what a great choice. This starts off with a nice coffee aroma. The flavor is a delicious combination of chocolate and coffee with that hint of bourbon to round out the flavors. Cheers!

Been a few years. Had to try this again. Bottled on 2/7/19. Not as good as last time, albeit from a bottle this time.

A tad unbalanced, fine coffee kick, subtle dark chocolate and some raw bourbon, not the most refined KBS I've had.

Maybe this beer goes DOWN with age. The 2015 was meh, this 2019 is better. Bourbon and coffee nose. Same on taste. Not complex but flavorful.

Good coffee and chocolate notes. Bourbon hits hard at the end for a boozy finish.

A lot sweeter than I expected and chocolate is nice. The head is cocoa as well. This is amazing!

Apparently the shelves of Sydney are being flooded with 2.5 year old KBS, remnants of a bygone era. Age is very noticeable, nose is creamy with less Green coffee but body is distinctly thin
