Not getting any barrel but definitely get chocolate & coffee.

Would swear I had this before but says first check in. Anyway, for the record. Last KBS or Founders in my fridge. As for the beer- a little more harsh than past versions

Coffee was the first stand out flavor but slowly you start to get the chocolate and the bourbon.

Loads of barrel and booze. Very little coffee and chocolate.

After having this, I might rate bcbs classic better. Prefer Willettized.

Booze and bourbon with a bit of caramel and chocolate on the nose. Not an overly strong scent. Not overly strong flavor either initial. Each flavor can be picked out and not complex. As it warms to room temp it gets better, builds coffee character.

Found one of these in the back of the fridge. Still drinkable, but not as good as normal.

De geur is veelbelovend qua chocolade, maar de smaak is vooral scherpe boozy koffie. Ook redelijk dun.

Dufter mest af kakao og efter nærmere eftertanke også af fad. Måske lidt for meget fad men synes alligevel at den er meget god.

A tad unbalanced, fine coffee kick, subtle dark chocolate and some raw bourbon, not the most refined KBS I've had.

Found in a liquor store recently. Not sure if it is due to its age (unlikely cellared in the right conditions) but the bourbon barrel flavours are v. subtle to none. The main thing that sticks out is coffee, with the chocolate less prominent. Boozy.

(Aged 2 years) Smooth, but not as strong as the 2018. Not strong chocolate notes nor smoke.
