4 years in my cellar. Carbonation has faded along with the taste of bourbon. Chocolate is still there. Pushing it’s prime, but still good.

4 1/2 years since being bottled. Surprised how much of the booze is still lingering here. Always a classic on a cold day.

Yesterday. In surprisingly good shape. Coffee has faded a lot leaving room for a soft, tasty and bourbon-forward imperial stout.

This has fallen off a bit. Kind of thin, still chocolate and coffee notes, boozy.

Used to chase this beer. Four years might be a little too long to sit on this one. Still good, but not great.

口元寂しく、Imperial Stoutを飲みたい気分だったので。久々のKBS。2018 release、といっても買ったのは２年くらい前だが。４年も経つと何かスタウトを飲んでいる気があまりしない。豆というか醤油のような味が出ている。攻撃的なハイアルの感じはだいぶ円やかになって来ているが、刺すような麦のウィスキーらしさはかえって健在なままだ。

Just doesn’t hold up too well after a few years. Heat is still there but it kind of has a nickel taste to it now

From earlier… Time has changed this one. Body has thinned, chocolate/coffee has taken on notes of fall with tannic dry leaves, and the bourbon is just now some warmth on the finish. Still a pleasant experience.

Held up rather well. Didn’t get at a ton of barrel this time. Slightly bitter as well but great flavors overall.

Four years in the basement. Still bites but either it’s smoothed out or my tastes are more compatible. Chocolate coffee flavors. Thanks Eric!

Such a good beer. Hard to sip it. Vanilla/bbl almost a cherry tartness. Chocolate coffee finish that lingers.
