Been a while! Kbs 2018 release. De leeftijd heeft hem zacht gemaakt. Scherpe en zure tonen zijn wat vervaagd. Vooral cacao en koffie komen nu na voor. Enigzins slapper geworden waardoor ik toch liever de 2021 heb. Bittere afdronk blijft overeind.

Bourbony nose, caramel. Bourbon is strong here. Chocolate & coffe faded some. Flavor dropped a lot here. Maybe I need to go with a more recent year, but I found KBS usually kept adjuncts for a few years.

Surprised and happy to find this on tap but just doesn’t hit the spot for me as much as other stouts. Good but the roasty notes are overpowering.
