Actually kind of disappointing. It just seems to be dark, kind of biitter and strong. There strangely doesn't seem to much coffee flavor, or chocolate, or flavor from the bourbon barrel.

Sharp sweet coffee bite with some booziness. Not bad but expected smoother. Will let set for a bit in glass, and others to rest with their regular KBS brethren.

Still much more bitter than regular KBS, but subtle notes of oak help balance this out. Very rich and delicious. Another great breakfast beer.

Was expecting this to be a return to the world class KBS well. It’s not bad at all, but i feel like I’ve had this already. Noticeable chocolate and coffee but also very boozy. Tasty but not delicious.

Way too thin and lacking in flavor for Founder’s price point. I’ve enjoyed 7% coffee porters more than this. It’s fucking embarrassing.

Has to warm to room temperature to really enjoy it. Unbalanced. Toasty, boozy, minimal barrel(again), and strong coffee notes. Slightly vegatal in the finish. 🍻1️⃣❤️🌎☮️

Fresh this was easily above 4, but while the coffee is still heavy on the nose, three months in it's fallen off the taste a lot. Solid, but falls under drink as fresh as possible category even if it is an imperial stout

Espresso nose. Espresso flavor with a touch of bitterness. Malty chocolate finish.

Was looking for a beer to relax this evening- this one will keep me awake. Strong coffee flavors but still sweet. Letting this beer sit for a bit improves its flavors. If you can get pass the strong coffee flavors it’s a very good beer.

Beduidend minder dan de ‘oldschool’ KBS en de Mackinac Fudge. Dunner en minder goed in balans.
