Having next to reg KBS & Maple Mackinac Fudge. It's KBS w/ extra coffee & is similar to Java Cask & Big Bad Baptist. It has a very strong roasty coffee smell & flavor at first. Then the bourbon & chocolate shows up at the end.

13%, stout met chocolade en koffie op Bourbon vaten. Geur van geroosterde koffiebonen, donkere chocolade en bourbon vanille. Kolere, lekker zeg. Wat een mooie dikke bolle smaak. Alles wat je ruikt komt in de smaak terug. Heel fijn.

Paired with 100% cacao, which made us appreciate the richness of this one! Hard to tell through the booziness whether coffee or chocolate is the stronger flavor. This is a solid one, but I like other Founders stouts even more!

Roasty dark chocolate and robust coffee with some pleasant booziness & bitterness late. Barrel is present, but subtle and the body is full but not super full. Takes a bit, but I dig the subtle sweetness. Almost 4.5

Settled down nicely after several months in the basement. Big chocolate notes with a more subtle coffee. Not as astringent as before.

Outstanding beer for a soak in the hot tub. Strong coffee flavor which I would expect. Balanced bourbon. Slight booziness. As it warmed up from refridge temp it got better. Thanks Paul!!

Al naso prevale il profumo di caffè, il meglio lo da nel gusto, dove inizia con il caffè, per passare alle note di bourbon che la fanno sembrare un irish coffee in versione americana per poi finire con un mix a cui ai aggiunge la morbidezza del cioccolato
