Love some KBS. So smooth for 12% ABV. Love the more balanced barrel aged ales.

Part four in my on-going, completely unscientific experiment on the “new” KBS. Bottled on 2/22/20 and served at about 62°, the sweet bourbon aroma took my breath away as soon as the cap opened. Roast, coffee, and chocolate play so well together.

Haven't had KBS in awhile. Most definitely still a wonderful BA imperial stout, but not quite as good as I remembered. Maybe this particular year?

My second check in for KBS. I must say... this is a tad less good than the 2019 batch. A bit too astringent and thin.
