Helluva nightcap! Still plenty of black coffee, but also some rum raisin, fudge, and bakers chocolate. The coffee bitterness has mitigated, but the boozy bite has not. Better than 3 years ago.

It’s stout season! I’m slowly working through my KBS from 2018-21. Finding that these don’t age super well is a disappointment. IMHO, they need 6-12 months to take the edge off, but then they start to degrade at some point. Looking for the magic window.

First American stout from good 'ol Kentucky. . Bittere sjokla, veel bourbon nog aanwezig na 3 - 4 jaar. Sterke koffiesmaak. It ain't bad, no sir.

Sometimes, you gotta drop into the cellar. 2020 still chocolate forward, but no heat left on this one. Bought this one from McHenry Beverage Shoppe up the DCL.

KBS always delivers. Chocolate, roasty coffee and just perfect bourbon BA. Awesome complexity and taste that seems to go on forever. 44/50
