Dit blijft geweldig bier. Bittere karamel cappuccino espresso pure chocolade cacao. Zoet esdoornsiroop rozijnen dadels. Mild kruidige bourbon. Lichte laurierdrop. Zeer mooi in balans

2017-2020 vertical. 17 was amazing, everything else was really good.

KBS is one of a handful of beers (including BCBS, Deth's Tar, and Parabola) that I have had every year for nearly a decade. 2020 has been my least favorite vintage of KBS, though it is still solid. Bourbon, coffee, and cocoa.

Still drinking pretty good! Which is great because I have way to much KBS sitting on a shelf right now.

Absolutely magnificent. Glad I kept this around. Best dessert I've had all year. Way more chocolate than coffee. Almost too sweet. Not sure I could drink more than one. But then, it's not built for that. Nice, subtle, silky, bourbon afterthought.
