Aroma is like a cold brew mocha, chocolate and coffee, with maple. Taste is similar with the coffee more pronounced and simultaneously fairly sweet and fairly bitter. The bourbon is less dominate than most BBA stouts. Interesting.

A nice beer, roasty, malty, lots of fudge-like chocolate & coffee. Maybe a little too much coffee, but it is a breakfast stout, so there’s that. I don’t get much maple syrup, unfortunately, there much more in the CBS, but still it’s a nice, good beer.

Holy cow! The nose is amazing on this! Nose is 5/5! Surprisingly the taste is mostly coffee! I would have liked the fudge to be the star of the show!

4.1 This is really good, but I don’t get any bourbon barrel. Maybe general oak but not BBA. Coffee and chocolate are huge, and the maple is more of a sticky sweetness mouthfeel thing and then pops up on the finish. Flavors develop at warmer temps.

Sooo good. Nice maple and fudge on the nose. Perfect thick viscosity with wonderful notes of maple, chocolate fudge and vanilla rounded out with subtle hints of coffee and oak. Not too prominent on the BBA like its Espresso sister, but I prefer it.

Lots of barrel. I get the coffee and the fudge as well but the barrel is pretty powering. Coffee is slightly bitter.
