Well there’s certainly maple. And fudge. It’s tasty but it feels kind of unbalanced and out of whack, and the barrel disappears.

Deep dark and delicious, a sipping stout for sure , you will want to savor this one , a barrel aged quality finish

So tasty and rich... it really does seem like you’re eating fudge. One beer will fill you up and knock you out a bit. (11%) The kind of beer you’d share a bottle between some tasting glasses with friends. Probably not worth keeping on hand all the time.

Och: lekker & vol. Ruikt bij t schenken top. Fudge koffie, chocolade, siroop komt mooi bij stout en het bourbon vat. Haast teveel smaken om op te noemen. Na verloop van het flesje wel wat zwaar voor mij. Voorlopige topper in Danny's verlengde advent#3

Wat een romige rakker, intens donker van kleur met tonen van chocolade en koffie. Vol en rijk maar ook heel zacht.

KBS variants keep on popping up and I'm always going to give them a try. This one is with fudge flavored coffee and maple syrup. The result is a mocha forward stout with the soft bitter bite of oak. I'm putting this one above all other KBS and below CBS.

Aroma is chocolate and maple - flavor is definitely fudgie and oaky but the mouthfeel is a bit thin. All in all a pretty impressive nationally distributed pastry. Thx Ken

Accent on fudge. A little sweet for my taste. However, very tasty, full body variant of an excellent stout.

Predominant coffee taste. Get the fudge and maple on the back end.

Trying on tap. Sweet coffee and fudge. Maple and barrel shine way more from bottle. I like the bottle way better.

The smell to this beer is amazing. I feel like the flavor itself is a bit underwhelming. Good beer, but could have been a lot better.

Really pleasantly surprised with this one. The maple isn’t huge so it’s basically a fudge bomb.

The maple comes through first and big. Fudge is also here on the finish. Refined and flavorful. This hits a lot of good notes. Still wonder about the bigger production and distribution but this is a solid brew and is one to seek out.

More burnt coffee and less maple, chocolate, and sweetness than I would like but still probably my favorite of the KBS/CBS beers so far.

Maple syrup all over. Vrij zoet, mij net iets te dun. Bitters van de koffie geven een kleine tegenhanger.

Going for the second tasting. It's still very sweet and treacley, but I like it more the 2nd time. Getting more of the coffee, let it warm up a bit this time
