Fudgy chocolate and tons of coffee. Subtle bourbon presence and not getting any maple. Tastes like a sweeter KBS honestly, which isn’t a bad thing.

This variant has a lot of flavor notes going on all at once, and not in a bad way. Big thick fudge aroma with a hint of coffee. Initial taste is of a dark chocolate followed by a subtle maple background. Well done

Wow....big stout. Fudge dominates here, but in a good way. Subtle maple and coffee, boozy. Bravo to this addition to the KBS variants.

Lots of fudge but not as much bourbon as the original KBS. Pretty sweet from the fudge, not much maple, which is probably a good thing. Best to let this one warm up a bit before drinking.

Good but missing something. Chocolate is pronounced, hint of maple. Slightly think at the end but I'm nitpicking. Can't wait to try the next three!

This is a fantastic stout. Everything you want with it's full rich flavour, a bit of booze for depth and exceptionally delicious chocolate finish.

Wow! Full of flavor! Chocolate coming through big time...am guessing maple will come through as it cools. Like a not overly sweet candy bar

Huge coffee cold and on the nose and initial taste. Fudge comes in at the finish and is rich. Warmer let's the maple and fudge become more present. Founders knocked it out of the park!

Maple is less prominent than the fudge (tis a good thing) the coffee and barrel pop at the back. A tad thin and I wanted a bit more barrel, but this is really good. I like it better than the espresso version

Alright founders, you stepped up. Put this one on the board. Fudge definitely comes through, but without being an over the top pastry stout. Good balance of chocolate and coffee, very easily a solo bottle. Little to no maple. Not quite 4.5, maybe 4.3.
