2020 bottle. Hated this fresh, so the bottles have been languishing in my cellar. On a whim, gave it another try. Have to say it’s improved. Still very chocolatey, velvety and sweet. But the maple and fake-ish fudge notes have reduced a ton. Drinkable now

The most approachable KBS I’ve had yet – only a hefty punch to the forebrain. Lighter in texture than expected, but well balanced between toasty coffee notes and sweet chocolate fudge.

The fudge is certainly there, but the maple is overshadowed by the dark chocolate/coffee bitterness. As it warms up, the flavors are more pronounced, but not different

Big maple and chocolate nose, but not too sweet taste with coffee bitterness. Bourbon in there but muted by fudge flavors. Alcohol is hidden.
