Lighter in body than 2016, barrel seems more neutral or 2nd use than other BAs. A little spice, nice earthiness.

Still drinking nicely. Take note, Jackie O’s.

Flavors developed after 3 years of sitting and aging. Well rounded flavors. Drink at a cask temperature

This is so good. Worth the wait! It even tastes good exhaling.

Eh, a little better with age. Mostly just trying to drink my cellar.

Bottled 20/07/17. Aged wonderfully. So much oak and bourbon barrel character. Super warming and smooth. Some scotch notes. Plums, raisins, dates, malty, alcohol is at the perfect level of kick without being overwhelming. Great beer

Een paar jaar achter in de kast en nu een stuk beter in balans. Minder plakkerig zoet, meer donkere karamel, hout en bourbon.

Oh man, I remember this being HOT when I first had it. But aged 3 years it’s perfectly mellow, slightly oaky, and sweet.
