This was deceptively smooth, such a complex ale. The barrel notes are there & richly enhance the caramel + malt. Great beer in the rain!

Very smooth and sweet. This is sure to be a creeper with a high alcohol content!

Pours a nice deep mahogany. Aromas of toffee, malt and dark fruits. A sweet syrupy palate with plenty of malt but the bourbon gives it a bit of balance. Medium bodied. Quite a bit of carbonation for the style. Overall pretty good.

Another excellent Imperial Stout. An Old Ale brewed with molasses and aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels.

It does taste a bit like pancakes and syrup, but it's too sharp. I probably wouldn't buy this one although I respect it.

Great to have all that alcohol in a 12.7 brew, but it is a bit too sweet for my taste.

Delicious, like drinking candy. But probably too rich (and 12% abv) to drink more than one.
