One last brew for the evening. Rich, inky molasses notes, dark sugar and light caramel, just stellar. Founders is my kryptonite,.for good cause.

Consider it a late birthday gift, one of my favorite beers ever. Happy to find it on draft and it’s just as amazing as always. The maple barrel is top notch as always.

Reminds me of curieux but with tons of maple syrup and molasses. Haven’t had a barrel aged beer from a major brewery in a long time and this is GOOD.

Still stoked on this beer. Cold it tastes like cognac dates or dried cherries. Tempered is a whole different story

Big malty beer with bourbon and maple syrup flavours - rich, luscious and satisfying drop. Feels like big warm hug on the inside.

What a nice unexpected surprised this was. Founders re-released more of their ‘18 stash (a week’s difference bc I have old bottles). Snagged a growler. Amber pour. Bourbon, honey, maple/molasses both in smell and taste. Smooth for 12.7% yet boozy af still

Finishing off the growler. Dark amber pour. Smells of honey, bourbon, maple syrup, slightly of butterscotch. Taste has big maple/molasses & carmel notes, with the booze lingering at the end. Still smooth while hitting hard at 12.7%. Big beer? A’ite den.
