Last check in noted this wasn't as sweet as I recalled. I think this is a year to year variation. This vintage is a bit sweeter than the more recent one I had. Still really good!

Lækker øl, smager af chokolade, lidt kaffe. 5 grader = meget chokolade, 12 grader = chokolade og kaffe, varmere = chokolade, kaffe og “lidt guldøl”. En dejlig øl der SKAL deles 🍻🍻🍻ja tak

Cellar aged 4 years and lost some of the zip, not Founders fault at all. Thought aging will make me like it more but I definitely prefer it fresh!

Maple gone, strong chocolate, one or two left in the cellar - still hard to beat the quality to bottle volume ratio

Velvet, chocolate, maple, very pleasant. But at 4 years old, perhaps slightly past its prime

Aged 4 years. Better fresher but still very good. Lost the syrup maple sweetness. Bigger roasted coffee notes, oak, soft maple, bourbon, acidic espresso finish. Like drinking coffee with soft maple in finish. Still amazing and the last Canadian Mountie

Wow. This is much better than the 1st go Round. Maple still strong, smooth. Bourbon really amazing. Last 2017 (4.4)

Held up pretty well for 4 years old. The maple has definitely faded but it’s still there.

Well balanced barrel and cocao flavors. Mellowed out, smooth and delicious. Drinking well.

Missed out on International Stout Day this year, but enjoyed raiding the cellar for this one. Hope this isn't my final CBS...

Really smooth and chocolatey, but unfortunately didn't get much maple or barrel. Tasted great though.
