Found this in my fridge & decided to finally crack it open. Very chocolatey with strong coffee notes but still holds up. 7 years old so its definitely past its time. Does not taste like 11.7% Probably should have opened 4 years earlier😂

Found this on the back of the shelf. 7 years aging is too much, but still is pretty enjoyable.

Fate decided you had to be drank tonight, not desire. Curse you broken bottle cap.

My last bottle. It has mellowed out a lot, most of the sweetness faded. But at mid temp it's got plenty of roasty coffee

Rediscovered a small cache of BS in the basement. Adjuncts are long gone but it remains a mighty fine base stout after 7 years. Too bad Founders turned out to be racist.

Literally had this bottle since 2017. I stopped buying from them but this one is still tasty. I don’t imagine it seems that different with time.

Slightly faded but not complaining. Maple sticky and barrel have backed off, barrel is subtle to my liking.

My yearly revisit to CBS. 2017 vintage. Faded coffee, big chocolate with nice maple. Light barrel flavors and heat.

Quite possibly the oldest beer I’ve ever had and I have no doubts that it held very well over the years. Still so delicious, my favorite beer all time (tied with maybe a few others)

This was way sweeter than I remembered and it went down super smooth. Probably the last time I have the good ol mountie version and boy they don’t make em like they used to.
