Still excellent, but no longer my all-time favorite. Thoroughly enjoyable, but the 2014/2015 version(s) were the top!

Top shelf imperial stout with chocolate and coffee taste and maple boozy bourbon finish. Like breakfast mashed together- coffee, pancakes, and maple syrup with a shot of bourbon on the side. Big 11.3% ABV to get you going in the morning. Pride of MI

Thinner than mackinac. Tons of maple syrup and barrel. Mackinac has surpassed cbs.

So lovely! Aroma is incredibly inviting which leads to amazing malt complexity and smooth mouth feel.

One amazing beer. If stouts are your thing- and they dang sure should be!- you’ve got to try this one.

Imperial Stout brewed with a blend of coffee ☕️ and imported chocolates 🍫 , then aged in spent bourbon 🥃 barrels that have most recently been aging pure maple 🍁 syrup. This my favorite BBA Stout and we won’t be seeing this for another 5 years Stock up

Thick, creamy stout. Has chocolate sweetness to it but not overpowering. Balanced out by the bourbon taste. The coffee taste isn't as apparent as some of the other one from Founders.
