FLN; 12.5%’er; a poor hard pour, but a rich flavored stout!

Like most stouts, better as it warmed. Had an unbelievable roasty nose. Very thick in the mouth with great after-taste. Thanks John!

Did someone melt a fudgesicle and add some coffee, because that would be close.

Warm, sweet, oaky, dark fruit and brown sugar, with a roastiness on the long finish. Just about perfect.

FLN. FIS is always a little roasty for my preference. Still a well made beer. Jeremiah I figured this was an appropriate location to consume...

Some people will definitely call me crazy, but I prefer the base beer. This wasn't bad at all, but maybe it would improve from additional aging. The base beer is so complex & there aren't enough traditional Imperial Stout out there now. #rant

Another 1yr aged beer. Much more mellowed out. Much smoother but flavor has really gone away.

The barrel mutes the licorice and dark fruit this beer normally has in a great way. Smooth roast with medium body. ABV well hidden

Big wood and whiskey notes. Roasty, classic non-additive stout with big flavor and good balance.

A little chocolate and feint booze on the nose. Dark chocolate and Expresso on the palate. Nice rich mouthfeel. Sitter year and the booze aroma should fade a bit. Fantastic...
