Not nearly as heavy as I expected it to be. Think I prefer KBS, but still great and even better on tap.

Coconut, liqorice all sorts, vanilla, maple syrup, very oily, sweet, sweet, sweet, but not cloying. Rummy, could do with a bit of roast or espresso, but very, very good. Almost 4.5.

Lots of coffee and barrel on the nose, maybe some vanilla. Coffee, cocoa, and burnt sugar (maybe from the barrel?) on the tongue. Little bite of barrel and syrup sweetness on the finish. This may be better fresh?

The nose is a straight up Hershey bar. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy. And the flavor lost most of the maple. But oh this is good!

Late Turkey Day check in. Was really good back in 18. Maple fell off as it aged. Still a good beer.

Purchased nearly three years ago...aged beautifully. Lots of maple. Smooth, rich mouthfeel. Lost the chocolate and coffee

Sweet maple, bitter chocolate and coffee, warming bourbon. Great balance of flavours in show. Thick mouthfeel as it should have. Good stuff.

It's not supposed to be aged, but it somehow felt better than when I had it fresh, less booze burn/less sweetness as maple faded away. Pleasant surprise!

Mellowed on the stout flavor, more of a whiskey aftertaste. Still pretty good, but two years may have been a bit long.

Not as good as I remember the 2017 on tap, but still pretty good. Big boy bomber took some time to drink.... def don’t need to buy a bottle this big in the future!

Aged. Strong coffee flavor at first, then chocolate and bourbon. Not as much maple.
