Kermaisen pehmeä, täyteläisen tasapainoinen, kahvimaisen suklainen, taustalla vaahterasiirappia, tynnyriä ja bourbonia, pitkä kahvimaisen bourbonimainen jälkimaku.

Holding up well. After 2 years the maple and sweetness is gone. But the coffee and chocolate is bold. The bourbon flavor comes out on the finish.

Been a while since I had a CBS. More maple than I remembered. Nicely balanced beer.

Can tell it’s a bit fresher than the 2017. This one brings back good memories of Tiger winning the Masters

This ages well. Subtle oak, mellow bourbon and rounded out by chocolate and maple. Yum

It is a choco coffee aged in maple bourbon. Did I get that, I got that. Right.

KBS + maple syrup, apparently? I have yet to try the OG, but hopefully soon. This is a big daddy full-flavored stout and has come into its own after allowing it to age for several years. Can’t wait to try KBS on its own and compare all the varietals 🥰

The maple definitely subsides pretty quickly, but it’s influence remains in immense natural, rich sweetness in addition to the robust, chocolate KBS you expect. Years really do help all KBS remove the booziness, and no exception here.

It is what it is. Modern classic. Nice balance with the sweet ingredients and barrel. Might have been missing the sharpness slightly with my (additional) aging. LT from 09.01.2021

Worth the wait! Good one to age for sure. All notes still present and all seem to be nicely blended through the aging

Still good coffee roast and sweetness off the maple. And the cellar clean-out is near complete, save for a couple special diddys

So this is mellowing out, the barrel has taken a back seat, the maple and chocolate is more dominant, aging well for me........
