Not typically a fan of stouts or porters, but this one is pretty good 🤙

My favorite Porter to date. Full bodied flavor with a bourbon finish.

Upfront malt, nice sweet maple and a decent bourbon flavor, vanilla on endnote, well balanced

Last bottle I think. Strong vanilla and maple. Barrel is a little more subtle

Aroma of vanilla and maple syrup with hint of bourbon. Creamy mouth taste with hints of above. Mild barrel taste maybe overpowered by the sweetish taste but not sickly sweet. 😂 I could imagine this as icecream 🍻

Espresso, dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, bourbon, treacle. Surprisingly dark and complex flavour without being cloyingly sweet. Incredible porter.

Syrupy mouthfeel; flavors of vanilla, maple, caramel with subtle tannins to balance the sweetness.

Smooth and chocolately with a maple edge. Not tasting the barrel aged bourbon component but am picking up the smoky, roasty elements. Goes down easy. Another solid one from founders.

Chocolate syrup sweetness with some oak. Review out soon

And now something to balance out the lack of alcohol in the previous beer. This one is very recognisable as a Founders beer. It is a portee but the additions and barrel aging result in something more like a stout.
