The vanilla hit harder than expected and that was a treat! This one is a must find to be honest, Founders does barrel aging right!

Maple and bourbon, with a persistent wave of vanilla. Sweet and boozy, and beautifully black. This could pass for an imperial stout. Much better than I could pass for Jim Gaffigan.

4998. How far we've come. Well done as expected but not quite as flawless as some of founders other BA offerings. The bar is high.

Finally having it after 6 months. Kind of like a thinner porter version of CBS. Great flavors, really liking this. Always say there aren't enough porters around.

Great dessert beer. Still decidedly a porter, it is sweet with flavors that enhance the porter, rather than tasting like something else entirely

It's Founders, of course it's tasty. Quite easy to drink for a BA. Can taste the maple.

Had this a while ago but loved and needed to add it to my collection here on untapped that aside... Buy this beer and drink it.... To quote the friend I shared it with... "It was a wonderful journey....

Cute little tan head, fair retention, nice lacing. Black in color. Nose of booze, maple syrup and dark chocolate hints. Med/full bodied, slick, soft carbo, chewy, nice. Lightly sweet malts, chocolate and black, maple and caramel, booze and a hint of vanil
