I would’ve thought this was a BA porter/stout if I hadn’t seen barleywine in the write-up. Roasty, dark, rich, malty.

That's some very sweet rich malt. It's a bit piney with a solid end. It of course has a full mouthfeel with a good ABV punch.

Nothing screams beach refreshment on a hot ass day like a barleywine. Rich W.

Wee bit bitter, but pretty awesome overall.

Different from any barleywine I've ever had. I get something different with every sip.

Thin, beige head, dark brown, with red-brown highlights, and a lacing sheen. Nose- dark brown bread crust and cream. Taste- similar with candied prunes, dates, and high bitterness. High-medium body. Semi-sweet finish. RJT

Bottled 3/9/21. Pretty dark, roasty, somewhat crisp, strong, but ABV well hidden, aromatic, good lasting hoppiness/kinda fruity/piney, nice bitterness, pretty smooth, good balance with strong maltiness, generous sweetness, rich, solid barleywine.

Roasted malts and dark toasted bread up front. There are some high level bitter notes along with some dark fruits like prunes or dates. Good and complex.

Deep red brown color. Sweet malt and piney hops dominate flavor and aroma. Dangerously drinkable.

Malty, bready, roasty, with a touch of bitterness. Quite good.

A little roastier than I'm used to in a barley wine. Great none the less.

Deep malt flavor, just right on the hops. Quite a bit of booziness.

WEIRD. It smells so good I’d wear it behind my ears. But it’s got a BIG bitter finish.

Gonna have to try this one again. I was drinking it outside on hottest day of the year and it really didn’t go well with the heat.

This isn't a barleywine... Idk if the bottle is bad but this is watery and soapy and i guess there is some malt. All in all I'm sad. It doesn't even smell like a barleywine

As good as it gets for a barley wine! It’s simply fantastic!

Great balance of malty toffee goodness with floral hop bitterness.

Hoppy bitterness & roasty malts. Comes off more like a strong, slightly sweet black IPA.

I am thinking Melissa and Ryan may have something to do with this being at Flight. Aroma okay and molasses. A bit of acrid barrel, but definitely a barleywine. On the dry side, improve with aging.
