Caramel, wood, alcohol, good aftertaste. An enjoyable barley wine.

Definitely more enjoyable on draft than the recent bottle release. Hearty without being abrasive. Just glad I’m getting some flavor vibes.

Een bijna zoute nasmaak. Ik denk voor de echte liefhebber. Dropachtig als in heksenhiel'tjes.

Roasted malt, pine, burnt sugar, hops and bitter. Very hoppy barleywine and more like a black fruity IPA with nice bitterness, and if I rated as that it’s a good one.

11,2% 'american barleywine' with roasted malts, lots of hops. In other words: an imperial black IPA. Roasty, licorice, salmiak, piney, earthy, raisins aroma. Taste adds firm hopbitterness, bit coffee and caramel. How is this a barleywine?! Tasty though.

Definitely an American style barleywine with high hop bitterness. Flavor profile is reminiscent of Arrogant Bastard ale.

Wow!! A lot going on i this one. Based on dark color would not have expected the piney hops with the barley wine funk on the backside. Not bad just a big transition from my previous beer.

Intense dry bitterness, hints of dark chocolate and roasted coffee

More bitter/IPA-ish barleywine style. Fun mixup from the norm.

Darker, with more roast character than is typical for barleywine. As much roast character as many imperial stouts. Result is a drier impression than expected. Nonetheless, really enjoyable and well balanced.

Great balance of hops and roasted malt. Nicely bitter but sweet, too. Thanks, Dave. Really enjoyed it.
