Watching the Superb Owl. Drinking a Super Barleywine variety. The Rock, ceremonial announcer. This beer is fittingly one of the best to drink on an occasion like this.

Erg lekkere barleywine.

I get this more like a porter with some rum-barrel like notes. Not necessarily like a barley wine with that roasty content. Nice bitterness to stand up to all that malt and booze. Not undesirable.

This is really good. At $18 a four pack it should be.

Paahteinen, hennon rusinainen. Aika lailla scotch alemainen vaikutelma.

Been looking forward to this! Strange barley wine though, with it’s heavy notions of roasted malts and unusually hoppy bitterness. Very aromatic, but also very hard to pair with cheese (which I love) and works poorly with chocolate too. Still nice anyway!

Can’t really dig the bitter mineral/medicine-y finish. Beautiful initial sip & sensory experience though. Honestly a really well designed old school boi, something just went wrong at the end :(

This beer in my humble opinion is much much better warm. I started it ice cold and it was a little sharp and thin, but as it warmed up, my oh my😁

Baller barleywine; hoppy and boozy and nit for the faint of heart.

Roasty, toasty, spicy and dry - lots of coffee as well. To me it seems more like an imperial porter than barley wine😅

I wanna know who decided to make 5000 gallons of Nemesis last year. Also, thanks because this shit for $4 a 4 pack is pretty awesome.
