Barleywine? Maybe a hint. I can definitely tell in the aftertaste once it warms up. It is actually pretty decent even though I can't describe any flavors. All I'll say is that it's not bad and unique! Good for a mass produced "small batch."

Strange. Doesn’t taste like a barleywine to me. More stout.

Celebrating me passing my CDL test. To better times!! Will definitely drink many more in the future. Great solid taste that doesn’t end. Love it.

Not normally a barley wine guy, but love Founders. Sweetness to the beginning of the beer and finishes bitter. Definite barley wine nose.

Started strong but as it warmed it grew less favorable, not bad but not great

Super weird. There’s almost a dried fruit flavor to the finish. Not my cup of tea.

Shelves are depressingly homogeneous nowadays, so I'm glad a brewery of this size took a chance on bringing back a beer like this. Really hope the Bottle Shop Series continues next year and revives some other out of vogue recipes.

Well done barelywine. Rich caramel and molasses. A good amount of bitter hops but blends well.

A Barley Wine that hides its ABV well. Malty with 75 IBUs it's tasty and sneaky. 😆

Tastes English style. Very boozy & malty. Molasses and raisin flavors. Awesome barleywine.

Un barley wine comme je ne me souviens pas en avoir bu. En général je ne suis pas fan, plat, sucré, alcooleux. Ici rien à voir, on est sur une bière noir type stout en première bouche et une superbe longueur de houblon comme si j avais bu une black ipa.

Smells terrific. Taste? This is my least favorite Founders offering of all time. Tastes like burning.
