Geur is zeer moutig. Smaak is droog en bitter als in een goedkope dipa of dry hopped. Minder barleywine. Daarom lagere score

Un barley wine plutôt original avec évidemment la grosse base maltée et alcooleuse mais également un gros houblonnage et une finale bien sèche. Les saveurs se succèdent, se superposent, c'est parfois le bordel en bouche mais ça sort des sentiers battus.

Bottled 366 days ago. Still smells like a barleywine but it's gone all Bigfoot. Ugh... Dry astringent and bitter. Hardly any malt left

Usually aged beers lose hops, this lost sweetness and body. Triple ipa instead of a barleywine.

Bit disappointed in this... what is this trying to do? Loved the other Bottle Shop but this, not so much.

Bottled March 8th, 2021. That was a good day in 2021. I don’t remember it specifically, but things were good then. Then they sucked for a while. Now they seem like they’re getting better. Friday we’ll know for sure. Solid beer. Love me a good barleywine

Surprisingly bitter. I was expecting something sweeter. Not bad though, just not what I expected.

Barrel and whiskey at the entrance, some dates, with a bitter/hoppy and hot/spicy finish! Very original Barleywine, I deeply like it!

An excellent and complex barley wine ale. It's one of the best I've had. It was a bit bitter and roasty and piney. It's also a bit boozy with a little aftertaste burn.
