RM. Bourbon soda. The “hopped after the wood” aspect definitely helps. Herbal and citrus on top of bourbon here. Seems a bit gimmicky

Super smooth with insane barrel notes.

I like how founders is like “we know you hate our BA IPAs but you’ll loge our BA IPL!” It’s actually pretty good. Tropical and oak-y. Not too boozy

Top to bottom, 2 of 4. Very unique brew. Don’t think I’d want a full pint, but enjoyed it as a taster.

Boozy, caramel nose. Smooth. Strong, boozy. Sweet, caramel barrel flavors. Nice bourbon flavors, not as strong as my pour earlier this week. Mostly caramel, vanilla barrel notes. Great BA lager

Still Outdoors... but it’s nice having a double date to Founders again!

Malty, faded hops and toffee, leather, oak, vanilla. Really unique flavors and surprisingly enjoyable.

Really goes down easy. Like a Michigan team vs UCLA.

Smelled as bad as any of their BA IPAs but actually tasted good.

Strong whiskey smell but mellower taste. Very smooth.

Really light & bright tasting for a BA beer!

Favorite of today's flight. Sweet, smooth, not hoppy

Molasses on the nose, and a watered-down bourbon flavor. Although aged for 3 years in a barrel, not a lot going on with this one.

Excellent blend of subdued BBA, nice citrus blended with hoppiness and BBA.

Of course when you come to one of the premier breweries in the country you’re going to drink a couple 5s!

Boozy rich sweet barrel all upfront. It’s barleywine like but mouthfeel and body are different. Has some floral finishing character

Interesring fruit flavor in this. I love that its hopped after aging. Different. Actually works well with barrel somehow. Any lager character is lost in this.

Very unique, tastes like an dry ipa on the front end with a bourbon kick on the backend. Very different but very good

Very good and unique. Lots of flavor. Similar to barley wine. Smooth. Boozy. Delicious.

Tasted more like a traditional barleywine than Nemesis did. Very tasty.
