Aarrggh, mateys. Tiz a February blizzard. Truly, a barleywine kind of night. Bottling date almost 2 years ago. Nicely aged! 11.2%

Not sure my rating is fair, because it doesn't taste like it aged to well. This bottle is 2 years old. Sweet boozy maltiness. Syrupy. Prunes.

Way too hoppy for a barley wine… starts off smooth and then the hopps just take over and make this overly bitter

Dark ass barley wine. Equal parts molasses, malt and hops. Delicious even though it was bottled over a year ago. That seems to be the new standard.

Is niet helemaal mijn ding qua smaak, maar wel een uniek biertje vind ik, straf ook wel. Heel bittere nasmaak.

Sehr spezieller Barley Wine, aber nicht schlecht...erinnert mich etwas an den Roundhouse Kick von Crew.

Roasty and slightly bitter. Malts give a mild chocolate character. Boozy and medium mouthfeel.
