House is in shambles, trying to get this circus moving. This smoothed out a lot...still got a punch though.

Five years didn’t hurt the typically nice flavors. The nose was very strong after the pour but waned. Slight burn was a little more present, but overall it was super smooth and a little thinner and easy to take in large, delicious swigs.

Felt fortunate to get access to this no longer in production beer. While the 2021 was good, this was excellent.

This has aged nicely if you like a boozier KBS, bourbon pops, nice barrel notes, subtle chocolate.

Had to move the cellar fridge out of the basement and guess this wonderfully mellow 5 year old bottle must have fallen out… how klutzy of me, oopsies.

Yes, a 2017 today, 4/25/2022. So great. Bourbon, chocolate, coffee.

Aged for 5 years, old and excellent, like my mom who passed away last week. This is one of many tributes to her that I'll be cracking open.

Still good but this has fallen off a bit after 5 years. Barrel is much more subtle. Everything has smoothed out but I actually prefer the stronger flavors. Will have to tap my other vintages to compare soon

The alcohol flavor is a bit too prominent, with subtle coffee taste.

Found it on draft - at Dr. Beer (the best beerbar in Antwerpen). Sweet, full flavour with chocolade and coffee.

Drinking well. Not as much chocolate as last time I had this 4 years ago. It's dark like the void my soul will eventually return to. Please continue to enjoy KBS.
