Aged quite well. Would not push it much more, though. Carbonation is falling. Still full flavors of coffee, chocolate, and bourbon. Still good bitterness and malt integrity. Sweetness settled, and flavors coalesced.

Bloody hell this has held up sublimely. Bags of coffee, hint of vanilla. Wondering now if I have more stashed away. Cheers for the reminder Richard T. but I may need you to pick some of the current ones up..

Booziness has disappeared completely after 5 years. Not as thick as I remembered. The coffee came through without too much acidity. Aged well.

Straw chug for a chug train call out in a FB group. Go big or go home for an early morning chug on an empty stomach.

17-3, 5yr 2mo o. Coffee is mellowing, yet at a pleasant level rn. Plenty of complex spices remain. Notes of cocoa, cream, and warm molasses. Aging beautifully.

The coffee & chocolate are nearly gone but the bourbon is smooth. 2018 was my favorite in this 6 years vertical I did so it's my conclusion KBS is at its best aged 4 years.

Bottled 2/23/2017, 11.8%, now over 5 years old. Vertical with 2016. The two taste pretty similar. The 2016 seems to have more coffee and more bitterness. 2017 a touch more carbonation and balance. Bourbon spice prominent, with coffee more than choc.

Seemingly lost any guts at first open. Let it warm and there was a bit of fudge and booze to it. Oddly lost any barrel characteristics and played catch up from the start
