Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017)

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

6 jaar oud maar een toppertje van de tap. Net te koud geschonken maar langzaam opwarmen en de gebrande mouten en vooral de vatrijping begint te werken. Boozy en bitter op t einde met koffie en chocoladetoetsen

I don't know whose idea it was to sell a pint of this for €8.65, BUT GIVE THAT PERSON A RAISE!

Carbonation has fallen off quite a bit, but still a smooth, rich beer loaded with chocolate and coffee. Bourbon and booziness is there but has really mellowed out

Have some on my shelves so need to get to these as the booziness and flavor starting to fade a bit... But still excellent with this Padron 50th Maduro!

Dark chocolate in a glass. Smooth. Not as boozy as expected. Drank in 2024. 7 years after production. Little flat. Very tasty.

Another 2017 release. This is a stout right up my alley. bourbon notes are way subtle if there at all. There is a nice, smooth chocolate and coffee profile, but there’s only a subtle sweetness to it. I love this.

Still holding up after all these years in the cellar. Good carbonation, maybe not as much depth.

Mid-week Stout Sippin! 2017 is tasting mighty fine! Booze is still lingering, roasty, chocolate & coffee is there too! Delish AF 🔥

Still hanging in there, bitter coffee roast, some vanilla left. Not as boozy as I remember or the 15 and 16.
