Tasted in June 2022. Dark color, brownish head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is still good, it's carbonated, it has coffee, chocolate, barrel has clearly faded and it's slightly vinous but it's ok. Finish is a bit boozy. Nice vintage !

Kanonfin KBS, inte lika kraftig smak som jag minns, men det är till det bättre. :)

Still has very good carbonation but foam decreases rapidly, almost no lacing, medium to full body, chocolate and coffee, bourbon and barrel are a faint memory.

Middle… coffee chocolate stouts the way they used to be were pretty crushable despite the high ABVs

Drain pour sadly. Random beer box from a FB give away

SO. SMOOTH. but at 7 years, this is downhill from my rating of a 5 in 2020, saying 4 years was the sweet spot. Though I'm happy to have that comparison.

Pari vuotta edellisestä maistelusta. Suklaisuus edelleen isossa osassa, kahvia ja maltillinen bourbon. Jälkimaussa viimeisenä bitteriä. Ehkä kuitenkin kuivunut vähän.

Last of the '16 batch I think. Held up great honestly.

One of my favorite coffee brews with firm coffee and barrel well balanced. Nicely boozy with sweet caramel undercurrents, nearly a peppermint nuance. Rich but relatively easy drinking (says 10.9% on the menu here). So smooth but tons of personality. 4.6

For a beer that’s basically 7 years old, I can’t complain.

6.5 years. Less boozy. Even smoother. I wish I had more of these. Only one left.

Starting off the night strong. Knuckleheads relocated to the old J Christian’s.

What a week. What a month! Time for a cellar beer. 8 years + a move upstate. Less boozy than I remember. Sweet, chocolate, carb has faded.

Had to break out some of these old BA’s in this cold weather!
