Paper thin but not unpleasant. Retains some chocolate notes

This held up better than I expected. Coffee forward and more bitterness than I remembered, almost like a chicory flavor. Better than a lot of things that happened in 2016.

Basically a bourbon barrel aged barleywine at this point!

The coffee has faded, but the chocolate is still there. Light bourbon burn at the end

Last one. This was my favorite year of KBS. Held up kinda sorta but it’s definitely seen better days.

Coffee has faded, chocolate is muted and bourbon is blended. 8 years makes this a smooth rainy night sipper.

Similar to the 2015, you can tell it's starting to turn

A lil more fizzy than the 2017. Finishes with a bitter chocolatey oak. Definitely stronger though. Still initially sweet

Working my way to 2019! On the thin side but another boozy one. More vanilla from the barrel aging, sweetness not as prevalent in the 2015. Surprising carbonation for 8yrs. Roasted malts and chocolate flavors linger. She was a beaut!

Otte år i kælderen er for lang tid. Noget af kraften og nuancerne er forsvundet, men den er heldigvis stadig værd at drikke
