Founders is in a dogfight with Other Half to get to the Final 4, much like Michigan :o Need to help with this classic which is always great...even better with a fresh, hot CCC!

Out of the cellar from 2016, awesome maltyness, great barrel flavors of oak & bourbon!

Still so tasty after 5+ years. Bourbon, leather, sweet, a great sipper.

The oak is definitely more prominent. The flavor balance is much more drinkable. Probably the longest it should be aged??

The last 🍈. Still amazing after six years. I wish I had a few more stashed away.

Two days away from being a six year old bottle. Drinking wonderfully.

#NLIP. 6y and perfect. Though it’s one of the best easily obtained beers and never ever disappoints. Still full on carbonation and warming. Redemption beer.

Dark, hefty, bit boozy. Lots of caramel and vanilla, slight dryness and bitterness in the finish which is honestly very nice instead of like an insane sweetness. I also get plums and a small sulfuric thing on the palate. Very very tasty.

So far, excessive aging is serving me well. This is mellow but has marinated nicely. Booze is down. Delicious.

Been sitting on this one for a while. Soooo good. It has mellowed some, does not seem to be real boozy. Great taste.

Amazingly smooth for such a strong beer. Tons of character, vanilla, nutty, smoke... Incredible.

Please age backwoods longer and it would be soooooo good. Drinking 4 year aged backwoods in 2020 is so smooth and so flavorful its amazing.

Last bottle. Cellared for 4 years. Delicious and mellow. Booze isn’t overpowering. Subtle sweetness to it

Grabbed this bastard from the beer fridge thinking it might be a 2019. Upon opening I see the 2016 vintage. Never had one age that long. It did VERY well. I’ll do that again. Fantastic!!!
