Coffee aroma dominates this one by a mile. For a brown ale (imperial though it is) the sweetness is high. Quite smooth and creamy and the chocolate is there as well. Relatively light body vs expectation for the ABV it packs. Alcohol well hidden too.

Gotta admit this is a solid beer. Could yse more barrel but its got lots of coffee abd not overly sweet.

11.1%. Bourbon barrel aged. Simulates a cocktail. Nice complex sippers.

Inderdaad fluweelzacht met chocolade en wat vanille. Alcohol begint pas naar voren te komen naarmate het bier opwarmt.

Chocolate was the first note. Some coffee, toffee, sweet, bourbon followed. Had a nice head when it was poured. Smells similar to red velvet cake.

Big coffee note upfront. Semi-sweet chocolate. Barrel is mild. I love brown ales. (3.96)

Romig met veel koffie en bourbon. Den bourbon is wat scherper aanwezig en geeft een boozy accentje.

Hmmmm. Much more boozy, but missing the final touches. Vanilla is there but the others are overtaken by the barrel.

Invecchiata in botti di Bourbon: vellutata e complessa Brown Ale proveniente dallo stato americano del Michigan. Al naso e al palato regnano il cioccolato, il caffellatte e la vaniglia. Gradazione alcolica alta. Prodotto interessante e di qualità.
