Everything bagel when it comes to beer. I really like the bitterness that the barrel imparts to keep it from cloying. The coffee plays a part in that too. This is one that would definitely benefit from a few years of sleep.

Oh my, coffee crazy on the nose, then the chocolate hits hard. Awesome.

Solid. Coffee is a bit too forward for me though. The finish is great so hopefully with some age, this will level out.

Nice after dinner sipper. Smooth delicious coffee with a nice almost caramel flavor.

Close to great but in the end it’s mostly a coffee beer.

Too much coffee for me. Can’t taste any chocolate. Maybe a little on the finish.

Did not love the aroma, very extracty. The flavor is much richer and cleaner, still a little harsh on the finish but smooth overall. Don’t look at the photo too closely

Heavy on the coffee with a light bourbon taste on the back end. Pretty solid

Chocolate vanilla coffee creamer. Really well done. Not gassy

Complex bouquet begining with lighter chocolate and vanilla and transitions to heavier bourbon booziness. Body of a brown, a tinge creamier from lactose. Definitely boozy, but otherwise balanced between BBA and vanilla/malt character. Little beer flavor.

A nice contrast to another fav, Underground Brown. An immediate surprise awaits :-)
