Excellent like most of Founder's BA offerings. Lots of coffee but not really as creamy as expected with the milk sugar. Lighter than most of their BA beers as would be expected of a brown ale.

Not a whole lot of barrel taste but I am thoroughly enjoying anyways

Extremely decadent. Maybe best enjoyed in smaller serving but delicious

It’s a good brown ale! Such a forgotten style of beer by brewers these days

Lactose in a brown ale? That’s a new one. Just enough to give the “velvet” mouthfeel. Coffee is the dominant flavor.

Very strong flavor for a brown ale. Sweet, chocolate and coffee tastes.

Chocolate and coffee are predominant with hints of vanilla make this Brown Ale another winner from Founders in their Barrel-aged series! 11.1% ABV.

So good I wanted more. 2021. Really a lot of sweet coffee the whole way through, with sweet bourbon and caramel. Notes of vanilla, brown sugar, and chocolate.
