A little underwhelming this year. Not a lot of barrel character. Roasty, nice coffee notes, berries, chocolate, a little on the bitter side, even a little salty at times. A little thin and quick too. Still good, just not great.

Like 2020 version, it’s a lot of coffee (which I don’t drink if not infused in beer) and, to me, much like Breakfast Stout. A little smoother and maybe a little sweeter on the back end. Maybe.

Good to try this again, but the espresso detracts from the body and barrel more than ever before. Enjoyable though as it warms.

So much coffee (espresso). It’s very full, chocolate, sweet and a touch of the barrel.. as it warmed it was Hot (alcohol warmth)

Very coffee forward. Hits you in the aroma and really dominates the flavour profile.

Truth be told, I thought I picked up the cinnamon variant since I pulled these from the aforementioned 4pk cardboard without much thought. I was rushing throughout my Total Wine visit. Lots of coffee and barrel. Sushi takeout. It was alright.

Very strong coffee/espresso taste. Cold, it overwhelms the flavor profile. Opens up a bit when it warms up. Still coffee dominant.

A little less impressed with this year than last. Still a silky viscosity but less bold upfront flavors. Wish it felt like I was drinking a cup of coffee more.
