Very solid. Great chocolate and vanilla lactose notes. Gets even better as it warms.

Heavy, coffee, sweet finish. Smell but don’t taste the bourbon.

The snow is getting deeper and the beer is filling the mood. This is malty and chocolate coffee. Delish. 🍻👍🏿

Mmmm. So nice If almost forgive them if they called it a pastry brown ale.

The bitterness of coffee, sweetness from the milk sugar, and a nice warmth from the barrel, a nice easy drinking brew.

Wow... flavorful brown ale with a lot of woody booze in it. Yum

Very smooth, very creamy, and an excellent chocolate finish. This is one of my favorite beers ever.

Chocolate and peanut butter nose. Milk chocolate and dark chocolate sweet. Vanilla and cinnamon round out the profile. This is really nice. Grand Rapids still producing.

From last night after band practice. Anything with Velvet in the title always reminds me of this from SNL. Imperial brown ale with coffee, vanilla, lactose, aged in bourbon barrels. Just an all around great beer!

Been a min. since having an IBA, let alone a Founders brew, but this hits all the cylinders so nicely...as the name implies, full mfeel, flavors melding well w/ the ba...no abv to be seen...exceeded expectations, well done.

A smooth and mellow way to end a busy hump day. Thanks Jason!

Whoa... Lots of big flavors swirling around that seem uncombined. Imma let this warm up a bit. It's not bad, but there is a very slight metallic taste, & seems disjointed. This is much better as it gets to a more appropriate temp. Smoother & cohesive.
