Geschmacklich absolut mein Ding: Filterkaffee, etwas Schoko, Vanille, brauner Zucker - süß, aber absolut nicht unangenehm. Dass ich die Fasslagerung nicht herausschmecke - egal. Nur die Karbonisierung hätte für eine bessere Note geringer sein müssen...

(3.8) Heavy burnt toasted coffee & malt (tobacco vibe). Beneath is soft chocolate & a nuttiness with an even lighter underlying fruitiness. Chocolate is more pronounced in the finish w. some booze, a light bitterness & lingering toasted coffee. Old school

Pure chocolade en koffie in aroma. Veel donkere mout, oud fruit, melk, koffie, kaneel en cacao. Heel veel smaak, maar ik mis de bourbon een beetje? De afdronk zit vol koffie, maar eindigt vrij zacht en zelfs wat zoet.

Coffee and vanilla aromas, in mouth overall is too sweet due to the lactose, with subtle bourbon hints in the back and a lovely chocolate and coffee finish. Thinner than expected. Companion to #AthleticBarça TV replay after a magical night at the stadium…

Bottled 7/29/21. Chocolate, coffee, barrel. Vanilla has dropped off. It actually also seems less sweet. Brown base beer more dominant. Very good on a snowy day.

Rare snowfall over Tokyo so time to get rid of this winter warmer. Rich. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Some bourbon tones. Smooth and good.
