Dagens gode oplevelse. Stærk øl med “mørk” og rund smag. Boozy med karamel og tydelig smag fra bourbon-tønden.

Maybe it shouldn't have cellared this one. Pretty boozy without a lot of hops. A bit of that iced tea taste, but primarily bourbon.

Aged fruitcake and bourbon nose. Malty backbone with rich, boozy, dried fruit taste and strong bitter hoppy bite. Slight oaky tannins on swallow. Had this 3 years ago and I am still loving the complexity today!

'18 edition, lots of wood and bourbon, wood astringency/dankness on the aftertaste with a blazing abv heat to finish. A very nice sipper for bourbon heads. 🍻🥃

Busted this one out of the ‘cellar’. You can’t get this in NZ, it took the slow boat from Chicago, but not the Evergiven! Big ol beer with bourbon, carmel, booze, and wood! Goodnight folks! 2018 vintage!

Sweet caramel and some raisins. Initial stickiness to needly pine finish with warming strength but smooth. Really like this style, brown ales are where it's at

Weer zo’n klapper van Founders, eigenlijk ook niet anders gewend. Ditmaal een red IPA die een poos heeft liggen klotsen in een bourbon vat. Mooie gelaagdheid, caramel, mout, bourbon, hout en een tikkie choco knallen van links naar rechts!

Tumman punertava. Tosi maltainen, mämmiä, pieni katkero, kuivattava vaikutus suuhun. Aika selkeä viskisyys. Hyvin vahva mutta tietty raikkauskin

I like this beer more and more. 2018 has held up well. Strong booze profile with a solid oak taste. The caramel has faded some, but this was good.

I’ll try anything from Founders. I must admit the hops of the IPA go well with barrel aging. You’d never guess it was 12.2% ABV

Very old bottle from 2018, cant remember exactly how it was back then, but it just tastes like a smooth, bourbon-touched barleywine. Definitely malt forward, more vanilla than hops.

Big hit with the pale ale and then a bigger hit with the bourbon taste. What a beer.

Really good stuff, and it isn't cheap. Beer from the USA rarely is. You can almost taste the barrel in which this beer has been aged. The bourbon gives you this very pleasant warm feeling. It's really good

A tad sweeter than I usually care for but it firs well with the rest of this delicious brew.
