KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021)

BFLN. Got a little hungry before reaching the border. Burger was excellent. This beer was just alright. Cinnamon somewhat dominates, barrel is muted, thinner than I remember this series being.

Concentrated coffee grounds with some super 110% dark chocolate in there too. A big deal of flavor early, cinnamon is kind of an afterthought. Wow a bite of apple pie makes this a 5. Lovely.

Decadent, medium carbonation prevents it from getting too sticky sweet on the mouth feel. A nice treat on a chilly afternoon.

Well, now I know why this has been getting rated lower than usual for KBS. Chocolate aromas with light cinnamon and vanilla flavor notes, and the brew is just overall thin and smooth. Just not as much body and flavor as I expect in KBS.

I'm not sure how you take a perfectly good beer and ruin it but now I know. Stick with things like Velvet Rush. Still love u though Founders.

I don’t really detect flavors other than the BA flavor. I got a brief hint of cocoa on the first sip but other than that it tasted like a normal KBS, which is still good

#500 🎉 Woohoo!! Cinnamon, vanilla, and dark chocolate. The chocolate coats your mouth. Tastes like a darker higher % cacao chocolate so a bit bitter with sweetness, but delicious overall.

This KBS is an excellent beer, however I have had better from the KBS series. That said there is a nice balance of the chocolate to other flavors, cinnamon and vanilla, it doesn't over power and steal the show.
