It's a Tuesday, why not? At warm temps, hints of oak, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste is much the same but very subdued from fresh. Still low alcohol heat in finish. No coffee. But bad but a shadow of what it was

Flavors are mute for the most part, theres still some chocolate on the finish but not much

All of the chocolate and coffee has aged out. Stacked up with 2019 you can tell how much is lost

Lost most of the carbonation and coffee flavor. Very smooth, boozy, dark fruit. Actually one of the better kbs's I've had in awhile

Dug into the back tonight. Cellared 5 years and the fridge for the last year. More syrupy than I remember, not much coffee left. Pretty smooth though.

Cellar Purge 2014: this one may have smoothed out a bit too much. Bourbony vanilla still there, medium chocolate roast, coffee is really faint but does come thru late in finish.

Probably no where near it’s peak. Flavors are muted but still getting some hints of chocolate and roasted coffee. Has some faint oakiness. Should not have waited so long to crack this.

I forgot about a bunch of KBS I had been aging for who knows what purpose. Not too bad considering it’s almost a decade old. Where has the time gone?!
