Fou’ Foune (2023) Regal

Maybe my least favorite fresh fou. Apricots are subtle and funk is missing. If this was blind I may not even know it was cantillon let alone a geuze.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2015) Regal

Delicious geuze with classic funk but more lemons and hay, soft. Low carb which I think makes this better.

Nath (2021) Regal

Best bath I’ve had. Smells rather bad, dried rhubarb and old vinegar on the nose, taste is quite pleasant with dry gueze and softly sweet rhubarb

Brabantiæ (2019) Regal

The port takes the geuze to another level, don’t really get wine notes but the barrel is really good

Lou Pepe Kriek (2017) Regal

Cherries layer nicely on the soft geuze. I prefer this with more age so the cherries mellow and the funk shines.

Nath (2020) Regal

Soft and delicate lambic, rhubarb shines but it’s rhubarb...i think with age the rhubarb would fade and the geuze would shine...maybe ate some?

Fou' Foune (2017) Regal

Meg says 5. I mean, it’s pretty good, apricots are fading but geuze funk is shining with the stone fruit background.

Brabantiae (2018) Regal

The geuze background is great as usual, the port barrels don’t add a lot. Def good but would rather have multiple geuze or kriek, it’s not on vig/lam level

Vigneronne (2019) Regal

Never had a fresh bottles cork fall apart. Smells like skunked grapes. Taste is dry, minerally and light. The grapes are like water down peaches. At first I didn’t like it much, on the last sip I am wanting more and think I enjoyed it quite a bit

Fou' Foune (2019) Regal

I love fou! The apricot and funk are so well balanced. Apricot starts off acidic but quickly disappears with horse blanket and dry straw mouth feel
