Red wine and dry hops followed by delicious geuze. Can’t tell it’s port aged but hits the spot tonight

Dry vinous notes and funk. Light front and tart on the back end

Maybe my least favorite fresh fou. Apricots are subtle and funk is missing. If this was blind I may not even know it was cantillon let alone a geuze.

Light funk, grape tannin shines. Pretty good but feel like it’s a tease. So many great flavors just stops a little short

Dark straw color, smells acidic dry funk with hints of bitter hops. Carb is low as expected. Meg says it’s flat

Lighter and softer than most, apricots on the tongue and subtle funk

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2021) Regal
Something about a basic geuze makes me happy. Sharp lemon and dry hay

Tyrnilambic Baie D'Argousier (2021) Regal
Buckthorn is light but the gueze is great. Maybe time will make this better?

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise 2021 Regal
Lots of funk, dry earthy hops that linger on the tongue.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2015) Regal
Delicious geuze with classic funk but more lemons and hay, soft. Low carb which I think makes this better.

Much better than the last I had several years ago, the geuze is great and hints of elderflower which work great
over 3 years ago
Not for me. Can’t remember exactly but the aftertaste lingered and was not pleasant

Best bath I’ve had. Smells rather bad, dried rhubarb and old vinegar on the nose, taste is quite pleasant with dry gueze and softly sweet rhubarb

The port takes the geuze to another level, don’t really get wine notes but the barrel is really good

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2021) Regal
Cherries are dominant and slight acidic. Needs more funk.

Apricots are great as usual…tarter than most other vintages.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2019) (+25% 4 Year Lambic) Regal
Not getting cognac but the geuze is flat and barrel is mellow

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2013) Regal
Significantly better than 12, coffee is faded and bitter but not bad
over 4 years ago
Cherries layer nicely on the soft geuze. I prefer this with more age so the cherries mellow and the funk shines.

Soft and delicate lambic, rhubarb shines but it’s rhubarb...i think with age the rhubarb would fade and the geuze would shine...maybe ate some?

Meg says 5. I mean, it’s pretty good, apricots are fading but geuze funk is shining with the stone fruit background.

The geuze background is great as usual, the port barrels don’t add a lot. Def good but would rather have multiple geuze or kriek, it’s not on vig/lam level

Never had a fresh bottles cork fall apart. Smells like skunked grapes. Taste is dry, minerally and light. The grapes are like water down peaches. At first I didn’t like it much, on the last sip I am wanting more and think I enjoyed it quite a bit

I love fou! The apricot and funk are so well balanced. Apricot starts off acidic but quickly disappears with horse blanket and dry straw mouth feel
