Cellar clearing. OG score stands, but it has definitely faded a lot with time. Last bottle from the first batch of KBS I ever bought. Second to last bottle of Founders in the cellar (still a CBS down there). I’m getting sentimental over here!

Did not age well in that one year. Could be where it was stored.

Took a trip to Da Rapids. Grab my KBS, a taproom sandwich, and few of these ugly glasses, and I was happy. Fast forward, I'm happier now. The aroma letting you know you in for a treat. Xocolate and sweet under tones follow by boozy coffee bitterness.

Aged low carbonation but it is 10 years old! Tasty rich bold light bodied

This is the last bottle I have of 2013 KBS. I am now making my way through the final 2013 to 2015 bottles in my collection. Cocoa, coffee, and Bourbon flavors, all well-balanced. This beer is now ten years old, and it is as solid as it was new.

Retained a lot of the original, but it's a little light on the barrel, surprisingly.

Like drinking a memory of 2013 stouts. Slightly faded, but still has some edge to it. Just a fun reminder of the years when I first got into beer. Maple flavor but not sweet, imperial stout with edges softened. Delicious. +.5 cause starting to get buzzed

It's just gonna be random. This was oddly still good. A good carb still on it. Not as nuanced as before but still good balance of chocolate, coffee and malt. best of the bunch tonight

My last 2013, practically still, just a little bit of carbonation. Big coffee, dry almost spicy chocolate, can find hints of the barrel. Every sip seems to differ from the last. Happy Father’s Day!

A little oxidized at first taste. Maybe 10 years is too long.

10 year old KBS to celebrate my daughters high school graduation and my 30 year high school reunion. Still had a little carb and KBS character. Not the 5.00 rating from 10 years ago but pretty damn tasty still. 👍🏼

13-3, 10yr,2mo o. Vertical: 16-13. Fiery, spicy cocoa. Notes of hazelnut and anise. Wood character lingers on the long finish. Aged very well. 1/4.

10 year old hits different 🍻 Way better mouthfeel than the “new” and flavor is still on point. If taken care of correctly this beer holds very very nicely!

10 year old beer right here! Smells great. No carb. It’s a little more subdued than it would be fresh, but you still get some fantastic flavors. I probably wouldn’t age this any longer. Good beer!

Tapped into my beer archive. Why not? It’s dark chocolate flavor and really pretty mild, can’t taste the booze at all. Really holds up well if cellared properly.

Also flat like the last ‘13. Chocolate, oak and bourbon are still there, smooth too but past it’s prime.

Super smooth, lots of chocolate, hint of vanilla and bourbon.

A little oxidation now. But very smooth. Next to no coffee notes remain.

My advise, don't save KBS for a future vertical. I know, Founders says basically the same thing.

Still solid, glad this was opened tonight

Still good but no carb. Still one of my favorites, but a reduced score as is.
