Pours a clear cherry red, white lacing, no surprise there. The nose is wonderful cherry, sugary. The maple and the wood balance out what would otherwise be an overly cherry affair. Oak and maple turn it into cherry syrup with some bourbon warmth. Grand.

Cherry is very nice, smooth drinking and mild. Maybe a hint of Maple for me, but barely. The bourbon barrel aging is very tempered and mild. This is a great combination!

Tastes like a Kriek, cherry flavor is delicious with a sweet maple over tone.. For a Founders I'm genuinly impressed they've tried something different... They should try more styles, have proved themselves with this one for sure... Delicious!

My buddy Jeff was able to score some Frootwood (2022 release), directly from the Founders brewery. Still my favorite barrel aged beer of all time. Maybe a little too drinkable! Everything balanced with cherry throughout, all without tasting boozy.

This one's right up my alley. I'd give it a big ol' 5, but David S. would give me shit. Cherry ale aged with male syrup and bourbon. Frikin A delicious.

Ahhhh, the sweet sweet (expertly antagonistic combination of tart sour berries with the husky rasp of barreling) taste of homeownership. On draft at Kruse and Muer, try the fish!

Magnificent! Smooth sweet cherry and maple. What a decadent treat! The sweet, not at all tart, cherry flavor lingers on.

Great idea executed well. My kind of beer barrels ,cherries,maple syrup oh my! Balanced . Not too sweet fruity or bozey. I will drink more of these.

A sweet cherry ale from founders. Huge fan of sour cherry brews but this BBA mixed nicely with a heavy dose of maple syrup is absolutely delicious. A great desert brew.
